AJA’s HA5-12G-T converts an HDMI 2.0 input to 12G-SDI for 4K/UltraHD single link outputs and includes a single-channel 12G Fiber LC transmitter with a FiberLC-1T-12G SFP installed, which extends SDI 4K/UltraHD signals over long distances (10 km Single-Mode).
The two 12G-SDI distribution amplifier outputs and Fiber LC transmitter support eight or two channels of embedded audio from an HDMI source or two-channel analog audio (RCA) input.
HA5-12G also supports Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) emulation which ensures the connected source continuously supplies custom preferred video formats on output.
A HA5-12G with SDI coaxial only model is also available with two 12G-SDI coaxial outputs to simultaneously enable HDMI 4K source extension to multiple locations without a distribution amplifier. HA5-12G models include a DWP-U power supply and USB port for firmware updates.
